Spotlessly clean, hosts are brilliant and food delicious - plus splendid views.

Adventurer297120,
Stayed three nights and were very impressed by Castleneuk. The B&B is very well presented and our room was clean and well decorated - cleaned daily and plenty of drinks and toiletries. Good choice for breakfast plus we took the option of an evening meal and it was delicious - the puddings were gorgeous! Andy and Malcolm were kind and helpful and the whole experience was positive. We will stay again when in the neighbourhood now that we have discovered Castleneuk.

Excellent dog friendly B & B

sueblue411, Derby, United Kingdom
This was the first time we had stayed in a B & B with our dog and we were 'all' made to feel very welcome from the start, we were even provided with a dog towel and bones. Andy, Malcolm and George 'the dog' were very accommodating and we felt that nothing was too much trouble. The whole place was very clean and the room was spacious with a very large comfortable bed and very good amenities, our room also had beautiful scenic views. The breakfast was cooked to order and was really good and plentiful. The location is well situated for visiting The Beamish museum, the city of Durham and the Angel of the North. We would highly recommend this B & B which we feel is excellent value for money and will definitely be returning in the near future.

Family funeral

858joans, Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom
We stayed here along with my son and his fiancée to attend a family funeral. From the moment we arrived we knew we had chosen well. Andy greeted us at the front door with the offer of a hot drink and showed us around. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are spotless and extremely comfortable and the breakfast was first class. And meeting George the family dog was a bonus. Will definitely stay again when we visit for a happier family occasion. Thank you Andy & Malcolm x

Best B & B so far.

franniepants29, Boston, United Kingdom
Sudden change of plans, meant we got to stay at this fabulous B & B. Met with a wonderful welcome, and pot of tea, while overlooking the stunning moors. The facilities are immaculate and the bed was really comfortable. However the gem of this place are the hosts, both so friendly, welcoming, making you feel totally at home. Thank you Andy and Malcolm, and of course the beautiful George the dog. we hope to return with our own dog soon to explore the magnificent area x
