First time in the area and first time booking with this company. I was not disappointed and would not hesitate to book again. I stayed in the Ash Premier lodge. Beautiful place, with immaculate finishing including a perfectly maintained hot tub. Some nice touches on arrival - tea tray with biscuits, selfie stick to borrow, maps of the area, and a warm welcome with 24 hour concierge service. Good amount of kitchen utensils and pots; the pans were all le creuset so cooking was enjoyable. The chiminea was easy to use and a really nice touch. Cannot fault the place. And set in such beautiful surroundings. I saw bats, a red squirrel and bunnies. Checkout was also smooth and it was a really nice touch to receive a hot drink and a tin of mints to take away. Great holiday, thank you.
beautiful scenery, lots to do, we came in November and would love to come back in the summer, lots of walks around the lakes, many places to eat within a few miles drive

Just stayed here for the weekend as we were visiting the Kielder observatory. We stayed in the Tynedale Spa Lodge and we weren't disappointed. On arrival we were offered a glass of prosecco or soft drink, which we thought was a lovely touch. On entering the lodge, it was lovely and clean and we really liked that there was milk in the fridge and a complimentary box with dishwasher tablets, sponge and cloths. There was dressing gowns and slippers on each bed, which was just what we needed for the hot tub. The on site shop is excellent and the staff were all friendly. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the swimming pool or any of the other facilities. On leaving you can have a complimentary hot drink and they offer you a tin of travel sweets. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location very helpful & professional staff, great having shop open at all hours lots to do if you have lots of energy, the new cabins look wonderful but the older ones seem a little run down but very well equipped everything you could need , the furniture is good lots of space. Lacking in views from the cabins. We did have problem with our cabin which was delta with quickly and professionally by the manager so a big thank you to him & his staff.

This is one of the few places I’ve stayed that I have looked into booking again before I’ve even left! The staff are incredible. Too many to name individually but Waterside can be proud of each and every one of them. Friendly and so, so helpful. Our lodge was really well equipped. We were missing something in our kitchen however and we mentioned this when reception actually rang us to check we’d got settled in ok. Within 10 minutes, we had a replacement! Our lodge had a hot tub which was a hit with the family, as was the coffee machine! The on-site facilities are plentiful. There’s so much for the kids to do. We brought our own bikes and set out on some of the trails and also took part in some of the paid activities such as Fairy School - never mind the kids, even I believe in fairies now. The on-site spa and swimming pool were also popular with the family, as was the restaurant and kids activities that were held in there.
