Scenery and tranquility

JamieC955, Bedlington, United Kingdom
When staying in Bellingham we came to Kielder for an afternoon and do one of the many walking treks. We opted for the Viaduct walk having already been to Hareshaw Linn in the morning. We hardly saw a soul in the trek and the peace and tranquility, as well as some stunning scenery made this a very pleasant experience. We will definitely return and either do one of the bike trails or another longer walk.

Excellent day cycling

Whybs27, Okotoks, Canada
Planned a day cycling and heard we could cycle round Kielder water for 26m. Its not flat though, lots of inclines and your endurance will be tested. Interesting art work to see along the way but don’t take your bike to Wave Chamber- not bike friendly Great views, lovely day and according to my app we burned 3002 calories. We were advised to take the north shore first and go clockwise round the water- which is good advice

Excellent walking and spectacular views

Scottfamily456, Goole, United Kingdom
spent a couple of days early May doing some of the lakeside walks. Excellent information from the Tower Knowe visitor centre and hot sausage rolls. Lots of different walks to choose from and all very enjoyable even when it was persisting down with rain.

Flipping love this place

Fresh air, peace and quiet and great adventures. Flipping love this place!! We did the ZOG trail with a toddler and a dog and it was lovely. Didn’t have the best weather but the tree canopy covers you

Wide open spaces.

What an impressive place with plenty to do if only to gaze at the view, Walking, birding, sailing you name it.
